Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)

Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is an evidence-based therapeutic intervention designed to enhance the parent-child relationship and address behavioral issues in young children. Developed by Dr. Sheila Eyberg in the 1970s, PCIT combines principles from behavior therapy and attachment theory to promote positive parenting practices.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a widely practiced therapeutic approach that focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Developed by Aaron T. Beck and Albert Ellis, CBT is rooted in the idea that changing negative thought patterns can lead to changes in emotions and behaviors. It is a time-limited and goal-oriented form of psychotherapy that has proven effective for a variety of mental health issues.

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is a specialized therapeutic approach designed to help individuals overcome the impact of traumatic experiences. Developed by Dr. Patricia A. Resick and colleagues, CPT is rooted in cognitive-behavioral principles and aims to address the cognitive distortions that often accompany trauma.

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is an evidence-based therapeutic approach designed specifically for children and adolescents who have experienced trauma. Developed by Dr. Judith Cohen, Dr. Anthony Mannarino, and Dr. Esther Deblinger, TF-CBT integrates cognitive-behavioral techniques with trauma-sensitive interventions to address the emotional and psychological impact of traumatic experiences.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a comprehensive therapeutic approach developed by Dr. Marsha M. Linehan. Initially designed to treat individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder, DBT has proven effective for various mental health conditions. It combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness, acceptance, and dialectics to promote emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness.
